Kate Possi is a Boston native, multi-faceted musician: guitarist, songwriter, educator, and singer. She has found an outlet playing music locally. With a music career beginning at age 9 on the cello and eventually moving to the guitar at age 13, Possi has captivated audiences around the the Seacoast, NH and Greater Boston area with haunting lyrics, twisting melodies, and a voice that resonates with deep emotion.

Possi's songwriting journey began with her iPhone-recorded at-home EP, “Making Champagne” released in 2020. Most recently, she has released two singles, “Blue Moon” and “Maybe" -- the latter a commission for a Boston University film student’s capstone.

Today Kate plays in her eponymous band, is a member of the She Bop Swing Orchestra, and plays with different groups in the Portsmouth area.
